Getting Started
  • Navigate to www.connorsolutions.com
  • Log in with your username and password
  • Click Asbestos Management to enter the ACM module main menu
  • To return to this ACM main menu at any time
    • Click Main Menu on the far left
    • Click Asbestos Management

Abatement, O&M, and Fiber Release Management
  • Click Manage Abatement/O&M/Fiber Release Activities to get started
  • Select the property being managed
  • A list of the existing activities is displayed

Adding/Editing/Deleting an Activity
  • To add, click the Add button
  • To edit, click the Edit button
  • To delete, click the Delete button
  • When adding or editing, the activity details screen is displayed

  • Type –
    • O&M Activity
    • Abatement
    • Fiber release


  • Start Date – Date the activity began


  • End Date – Date the activity ended

  • Contractor Used – Checked if a third-party contractor performed the work, unchecked if not
  • Contractor Name – If a third-party contractor was used, the name of that contractor

Activity Details cont’d (air monitoring)
  • Air Monitoring
    • Not Performed
    • Passed – If clearance air levels are < .01 f/cc
    • Failed  - If clearance air levels are > .01 f/cc
    • Must Pass to reoccupy unit

  • Air Monitoring Contractor – If air monitoring was performed, the name of the contractor who performed the air monitoring

  • Waste Generated
    • Checked if waste was generated, unchecked otherwise
  • Waste Bags
    • Number of waste bags generated
  • Waste Pickup By
    • The company that picked up the waste bags
  • Waste Pickup
    • Date the waste bags were picked up

    • Only enter if applicable

  • Documents
    • Files that relate to the activity
    • To upload a document via fax
      • Navigate to the CCS main menu
      • Click Fax Document Upload Cover Sheet
      • Print and complete the CCS fax upload cover sheet
      • Fax the cover sheet and document to the number specified on the cover sheet

  • Costs – the costs for the various categories
  • Description/Notes – General notes about the activity

Material Locations Introduction
  • Used to specify which ACM locations are included in the activity
  • Include quantity information
  • Accessible by clicking the Material Locations link at the top of the activity screen

  • Available Column
    • Shows all ACM Locations
    • Groups can be expanded
      • Expand the Building to see the Areas
      • Expand the Area to see the Materials
      • Expand the Material to see the Rooms that contain it
  • Included Column
    • Shows ACM Locations included in activity

Adding a Material Location
  • Select the material location to add
    • Select the Building to add all locations in the building
    • Select an Area to add all locations in the area
    • Select the Material to add all locations of the material in that unit
    • Select the Room to add the material from that room
  • Click Add (à)

  • Enter the quantity/description
    • Select the material in the Included grid
    • Enter the quantity (complete or dimensions)
    • Enter the description
    • Click Save

Employees
  • Used to track
    • Who worked on the activity
    • Respirator usage
  • Accessible by clicking the Employees link at the top of the activity screen

Adding an Employee
  • To add an employee to the activity
    • Select the person from the drop-down list
    • Click Add
  • To show all employees (not just maintenance staff), click Show All Employees

Creating a New Employee
  • To add a new employee to the system
    • Select <Add New>
    • Enter the person’s name and email
    • Check the position(s) for the person on the property
    • Only employees with maintenance roles will show as options on the activity screen

Respirator Usage
  • Only Employees covered by the company’s Respirator Protection Program may use respirators.
  • To enter respirator usage for an employee
    • Select the employee in the grid
    • Click Respirator Usage

  • The usage for the person on this activity is listed in the grid at the bottom.
  • To add a day of usage
    • Select the date
    • Specify if usage was >= 1 hour
    • Click Add
  • To delete usage
    • Select it in the grid
    • Click Delete

  • Return to the Activity Details screen
  • Click Save

  • From the ACM main menu, click Quarterly Signage Inspections
  • Select the property
  • A list of existing inspection is displayed

      • Select the finding in the grid

  • All ACM materials are listed in the grid on the left.
  • Checked the Inspected box for those materials that are included in the inspection.

  • Used to specify where the material was found to be damaged
  • Select the material in the grid on the left
  • Expand each building and check the areas where the material was observed to be damaged

Contractor Notification
  • Used to notify a third-party contractor of ACM
  • Sent via email or electronic fax
  • From the ACM main menu, click Send Contractor Notification

  • Select the property
  • Select the delivery method (Email or E-Fax)
  • For email, enter the contractor’s email address
  • For fax, enter the contractor’s fax number
    • Full 10-digit fax number
    • No spaces, dashes, or parenthesis

  • Enter email addresses you’d like to be CC’ed in the CC box (note that you will already be CC’ed automatically)
  • Enter the name of the contracting company in the Recipient Name box
  • Click Preview to review the notification
  • Click Send to send the notification
